Research Scholarships
Applications for 2009 Semester 2 VCRS and UPA scholarships are now open and can be downloaded at http://www.usyd.edu.au/ro/training/postgraduate_awards.shtml.
Applications will close 12 June 2009. To be eligible to apply in this scholarship round, applicants must be Australian Citizens, Australian permanent residents, or New Zealand Citizens proposing to commence a full-time research degree at the University of Sydney. Students who are enrolled in a research degree at the University, including those who upgraded or intend to upgrade from a Research Masters to a Research Doctorate degree in 2009 semester 2, are ineligible to apply in this scholarship round. These students and candidates who intend to commence their research degree in 2010 Semester 1 should apply for a VCRS/APA/UPA instead (applications will open in late August 2009).
