The Architecture, Design and Planning Alumni Awards have been announced for 2009.  This is the second year of these Faculty Awards and the  Selection Committee were delighted with the high quality of nominations.   The selection committee met on May 27 and the following alumni were selected:

Alumni Supporting Students

 David Turner
Recently, Councillor David Turner spent a day at the Faculty helping final year students with their resumes and portfolios - giving them practical tips on presentation and what employers seek in their graduates. The response for his time was overwhelming and David plans further sessions introducing mock job applications and interviews. Feedback from students has been extremely positive and just another indication of how valuable our alumni are to the Faculty.

'In Praise of Process' Exhibition

In Praise of Process Exhibitors

On Friday 27 March, the Hon. Bob Carr officially launched 'In Praise of Process', an Alumni Association exhibition showcasing work by past students of this faculty. It was a fantastic night with over 250 people enjoying the exhibition and catching up with old friends. This exhibition represents 50 years of architectural education and the resulting creative and vocational outputs including drawings, film, models and literature.
