International Students
The PhD scholarship, called the International Postgraduate Research Award (IPRS), covers tuition ($18,000pa) and provides a stipend (approx $18,500pa). It is worth approximately $115,000 nett in total. Competitive conference travel funds are available for PhD students as are funds to assist you research.

Australian Students
The PhD scholarship, called the Australian Postgraduate Award (APA), provides an annual stipend (approx $18,500pa) in addition to HECS fees being covered by the University. The School provides an automatic supplementary scholarship to bring the the annual value of the scholarship to $21,000 tax free. Competitive conference travel funds are available for PhD students as are funds to assist you research.
